Ohio State Route 242 is a state route in Darke County, Ohio. It connects U.S. Route 127 with State Route 121 near Versailles. The Darke County Airport sits at it's eastern terminus with State Route 121, most likely why the road exists. State Route 242 is in a very flat section of the county, with two turns in the highway, heading east, it turns to the north at Chase and Horner Roads, and once again toward the east at Plessinger and Shaffer Roads.
