Ohio State Route 185 is a state route in West Central Ohio. It connects the village of Versailles with the city of Piqua. Route 185 is mainly on flat ground, running through the farmland of Northern Darke County. The road passes through small unincorporated villages of Brock and Frenchtown before it reaches Versailles. Route 185 is concurrent with State Routes 47 and 121 through different parts of Versailles. State Route 185 leaves at the south end of Versailles and goes in a southeast direction toward Piqua. Webster is the last village in Darke County on the way to Piqua. Once it reaches the Darke-Miami County Line, Route 185 is mainly an east-west road. State Route 185 reaches it's eastern terminus in Piqua, when it meets up with U.S. Route 36 and also the southern terminus of State Route 66. Route 185 is mainly a northwest-southeast road in Darke County, it is marked east-west throughout.

Stillwater Prairie is a nature preserve located on State Route 185 in Miami County, between State Routes 721 and 48. There are many hiking trails in the preserve, and magnificent views of the Stillwater River. In Piqua, you will also find many hiking and biking trails. Many of these trails were formerly railroad lines running through the city. At the eastern terminus of State Route 185, turn north on to State Route 66. Follow through Piqua until you see the Route 66 Park on your right. One of the main lines of the rail trails starts here, and will connect you to most of the other trails in the city. The main line starting in this park follows the Great Miami River through most of Piqua.
