Hi, excuse me, but could you not roll back the legitimate edits of others for no reason?

You have done it twice:

  1. Unexplained reversion #1
  2. Unexplained reversion #2

This article does not belong to you and you will be reported to Administration should you continue. Thanks.--124.168.18.170 (talk) 12:51, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Why are you deleting sourced info from the page? I ONLY reversed your edits because you kept deleting SOURCED information. I have absolutely no problem with you editing anything but deleting sourced info is BS. You want to report me you go right ahead and you will have to explain why sourced info kept being deleted BY YOU. KEEP THE SOURCED info and I could care less what other edits you make. YOU DO NOT OWN the page either. If you would notice many other people contributed to that page and NEVER deleted sourced info. I went back and checked and see you keep claiming "style edits". Well my friend "style edits" is based on your personal idea of "style" edits. So expect MANY other people to come along and change "style" edits. You cannot be serious using this claim as the reason why you deleted a lot of sourced material. For some reason you did not like certain things on that page that were sourced and felt the need to remove them. That is vandalism. So I will go back to that page, which I ONLY started editing after you and apply "style" edits. And I will leave sourced info alone.

[edit] My response

I'm sorry, your above message is too vague. Throughout your spiel, you have repeatedly referred to "sourced information" and my alleged deletion of it. Not once have you specified what this information is. What information have I supposedly deleted? I don't believe I have erased anything that was adequately cited. Until you have familiarised yourself with the citation policy (please do) you don't know what "vandalism" is.

And by style edits, what I meant was, that I standardised a lot of URLs into the <references/> style. And removed a lot of excess verbiage and links. There is nothing wrong with that. (see Wikipedia:MOS) And by me performing those edits does not breach any rule, so by those actions I have not laid claimed to "owning the article". Whereas what you are doing, an indiscriminate rollback of ALL my edits, then yes, you appear to be taking ownership of the article, as if its changeable nature is to your exclusivity. It isn't.

Update:

  1. I have now incorporated your changes (eg. the "European Kobe" claim I kept, alright? - I kept it!)
  2. Removed "Olympics" mention from infobox - he has not won any Olympics medals (I have just noticed it now), so its mention is irrelevant - it's now just a generic medalbox. Also reduced "Greek Team" to "Team" - it's obvious it's Greek when it's in the titlebar. Thus, I removed it - is that OK with you?

Now I have incorporated your changes into my changes (which are legitimate), if you think there's anything I've left out, simply re-add it in. I know we're not all perfect, I admit my faults, but don't rollback my edits again please. Let's work together - Bye:) --124.168.18.170 (talk) 07:41, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
