Oglinda, also known as The Mirror or Începutul adevărului ("The Beginning of Truth"), is a 1993 film directed by Sergiu Nicolaescu. It depicts Romania during World War II, focusing on the King Michael Coup and the character of Marshal Ion Victor Antonescu, prime minister and conducător (Leader) of Romania from September 4, 1940 to August 23, 1944.

The film was criticised as being too sympathetic to Antonescu, who is depicted as a martyr and to Hitler, who is depicted as a calm and wise politician.[1] Octavian Paler labeled it a "fascist film".[2]
