Ogdensburg Correctional Facility

Ogdensburg Correctional Facility is a medium security state prison for male prisoners, located in the northern part of St. Lawrence County, New York, USA. The prison is located in the northwest corner of the Town of Lisbon near the St. Lawrence River. The facility is also used as a Federal Immigration Detention Facility for Immigration Court matters heard in Ulster County, New York.
Nearby Riverview Correctional Facility is also a medium security prison.

The prison originated as the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center (formerly, Ogdensburg State Asylum for the Insane and St. Lawrence State Hospital) and was converted to prison use in 1982. New housing units, specifically for prison use, were constructed in 1984.
