Ogachi, Akita

This article is about the former town in Akita Prefecture, Japan. There was another town with the same Japanese name in Miyagi Prefecture called Ogatsu. It has since merged with Ishinomaki.
Ogachi (雄勝町; -machi) was a town located in Ogachi District, Akita, Japan.
On March 22, 2005, the village of Minase, and the towns of Inakawa, and Ogachi merged into the city of Yuzawa.
In 2003, the town had an estimated population of 9,041 and a density of 29.54 persons per km². The total area was 306.02 km².
