Official PlayStation Magazine (Australia)

The Official PlayStation Magazine (Australia) is a magazine published by Derwent Howard. The magazine was previously called Official PlayStation 2 Magazine (Australia) but changed its name to coincide with the release of the PlayStation 3. OPS costs A$14.95 and sometimes comes with a Blu-Ray demo disc, though the Official PlayStation 2 magazine came with a PlayStation 2 demo disc DVD, and issues #3 and #4 of OPS has come with a Anime trailers DVD and PlayStation 2 demo disc respectively.

The regular sections of OPS are:

- Previews - Previews of game demos or looks at games that are as of the date of printing unreleased or unreviewed
- Reviews - Reviews the games and give them a score out of 10, 10/10 being a gold award and 1/10 being worst game ever, or "beer coaster" as the magazine consistently points out

- Editor's letter - Editor explains what has been happening in that month
- News - "Up-to-date" PlayStation news, as well as various competitions and movie news
- Letters - Each month a "Letter of the Month" wins the game of the month
- Cuttings - Snippets of letters or extremely short letters that cannot work as letter by themselves. The column proclaims that the letters are, "bite-sized morsels that are easy to swallow"
- Online - The online portion of the magazine reviews various demos on the PlayStation store, as well as listing readers who wish to be challenged to games of Resistance: Fall of Man, Motorstorm or Warhawk and upcoming online events
- Film - DVD reviews, as well as Blu-Ray reviews. A cinema portion is added though it does not review movies, rather give a brief explanation and a possible release date
- Tech - One or two pieces of new technology are reviewed, though not given a score. It would appear to be sponsored in part by T3 Gadgets Magazine, which is also published by Derwent Howard
- Subscriptions
- Demo Disc - Explains what is on the free Blu-Ray disc. Usually, there is an introduction and six in-depth explanations, though not all demos are included on this page bad ones are included
- Cheats - Gaming codes or tips for all 3 PlayStation consoles.
- Database - This section apparently lists all the games that matter on PS3, PS2 and PSP, though the PS3 "database" is the largest and only one that gets bigger
