Please do not move pages unless you have discussed your intentions on the talk page. Moving a page is a drastic step and especially for a featured article, the move was highly inappropriate. Thank you. Argyrios 06:00, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

You haven't learned, have you? Now all of these anons are cut and pasting the bloody article, the GFDL history will be screwed up. For controversial moves, can't you just say hello to the talk page? [edit] User talk page etiquette

Regarding user talk pages, it is best to not delete notices, but instead, to archive them. You will find how to do this here [1], under "When pages get too long." Actively erasing non-harassing personal messages is often interpreted as hostile. In the past, this kind of behavior has been viewed as uncivil. For this reason, if your deletion of notices and concerns on your user talk page is to keep the "clutter" down, I suggest that you instead create archives for these messages. I would be happy to help you do just that if you ask me to. -Kukini 04:20, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Oh, hello. Yes, I removed the notices to keep the "clutter" down. At the same time, however, I also do not wish to archive discussions on my talk page. Will keep this one, though. O

Deleting notices is not the same as archiving them. See [2] for an example of archiving. Please do not delete notices, particularly when they are pointing out blanking or other forms of vandalism. --Kukini 04:29, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
