Oettingen Rennen

The Oettingen Rennen is a Group 2 flat horse race in Germany for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1,600 metres (approximately 1 mile) at Iffezheim Racecourse, Baden-Baden in late August or early September.
Until 1969 the race was known as the Badener Meile. It was promoted to Group 2 status in 2003 having earlier been classed as Group 3.
