Oda Jaune

Oda Jaune (born Michaela Danowska, on November 13, 1979, in Sofia), is a Bulgarian painter. In July 2000 she married Jörg Immendorff, with whom she had daughter Ida, on August 13, 2001. Immendorff gave her the name Oda Jaune (Oda = Old-German for dear, Jaune = Yellow, Immendorff's favourite colour).
She studied from 1998 until 2003 with her future husband Jörg Immendorf at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
She had exhibitions of her work in the Kunsthalle Koblenz (2004), the Galerie Davide Di Maggio in Berlin (2006).
In 2003 she won the second price of the Emprise Art Award.
