Talk:Oct

Corrected: Revision as of 00:57, 29 November 2007 (edit) Srleffler (Talk | contribs) (Bring page into compliance with WP:MOSDAB.)
The above-captioned revision made numerous changes and introduced one grammatical error. Corrections were as follows:
"In most cases, place the items in order of usage, with the most-used meanings appearing at the top and less common meanings below." -- WP:MOSDAB
The items were not in this order after the above revision. Frequency of use on the internet was used as the criterion for determining "most-used meanings," and the items were re-arranged in that order, following multiple advanced searches with various search engines.
The previous order is felt to have been more logical, but we will comply with your interpretation of MOSDAB.
The explanation of October being the tenth month was restored, as this is a common problem for people who are bilingual in English and Spanish.
The removal of bold-face for the initials of the various acronyms and abbreviations is felt to be an unnecessary loss of information which decreases readability of the article, but will be left as is for the moment.
Documentation of the use of the phrase "Official Conspiracy Theory," as demanded by previous editors, was removed by this edit, but will be left out unless again demanded by a future editor. Wowest (talk) 05:43, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
