Oceanview Middle School is located on Nootka street in Powell River, British Columbia, Canada. It has roughly 450 students attending (as of October 26, 2007) and roughly 26 staff members. It houses the eighth and ninth grades, and its current principal is Frank Radcliffe, and the current vice principal is Douglas Skinner, who was just pulled from retirement. It is part of School District number 47.
It consists of a commons area, a small playground area, a main entrance area, six student locker areas, one teacher locker area, a main office area, and roughly one hundred classrooms.
The school is expected to be closed down and both current grades attending be moved to Brooks Secondary School within two to four years by order of School District #47 of Powell River, British Columbia, Canada.
