Oceana (Nightclub)

Oceana is a chain of nightclubs in the United Kingdom. There are currently 11 separate nightclubs spread across 10 different British cities: Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Kingston upon Thames, Leeds, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Plymouth, Swansea and Wolverhampton. A new venue will be opened in Watford in 2008. Luminar have plans for 16 Oceanas by early 2009.
Destiny Nightclub in Watford is to become the new Flagship superclub of Oceana, with a £5.5million makeover. The nightclub will have seven themed bars modelled in the theme of Milan, Prague, Tahiti, Parisian Boudoir, New York 70s Disco, Reykjavik Ice house and Monte Carlo a roof terrace will also be provided for smokers. On Mondays to Saturdays the Milan themed bar shall shut at 1am and re-open at 2am where it shall act as a "departure lounge" where clubbers can order food and soft drinks and wait for taxis. Building work will take six months and it is hoped the new nightspot will open in November. Destiny Nightclub will ultimately close during the redevelopment.
They are managed through Luminar Leisure Limited.
Oceanas are distinguishable by the presence of several different themed bars and clubs. In the 9 clubs there are rooms which resemble an Aspen Ski Lodge, a Venetian Ballroom, A Parisian Boudoir, New York Disco, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Monte Carlo casino and a Reykjavik Ice house.
The music played is usually hip hop and RnB, with sometimes dance music played.
