[edit] Debut Album

As of June 10, 2008, it was formally announced on the Anjunabeats website that OceanLab's debut album Sirens of the Sea will be released on July 21, 2008[1] with the previously unknown track Miracle to be released on July 14, 2008[2]. Included in the single will be Above and Beyond's Club Mix, as well as remixes by Martin Roth, Michael Cassette and Fletch.

As of January 30, 2008, Above and Beyond and Justine Suissa had been continuing production of the OceanLab album in Ibiza. The album was set for release in the summer of 2008. As of February 1, 2008, no title was currently confirmed. It was also unclear as to whether the album will include older singles, either in original or remade form, or consist of only fully new material. "Sirens of the Sea" (Above & Beyond Club Mix) premiered on TATW #207 on March 14, 2008 as one of the new singles for the album. However, "Sirens of the Sea" is not an all-new track. The Kyau & Albert remix of "Sirens of the Sea" was released on Above and Beyond's Anjunabeats Volume 3.

The latest release of the single "Sirens of the Sea" was officially released on April 7, 2008. The single included new remixes by Sonorous, Cosmic Gate, as well as the Kyau & Albert remix. Also included was a .WAV file of Maor Levi's remix of "Sirens of the Sea".

A new single, presumably from the forthcoming album, was featured on the TATW #178 on August 24, 2007. The title according to the official tracklist from that episode is: Breaking Ties (Above & Beyond's Analog Haven Mix). Audio footage of a Breaking Ties has begun to surface on YouTube[3] as of October, 2007.

Another YouTube video of OceanLab's new material was seen November 1, 2007. The new track is believed to be titled Miracle according to a user at Above & Beyond official forum who had asked Paavo for information regarding the track. [4]However, an official name has still yet to be determined.

Tony and Paavo of OceanLab talked about the album in their recent interview in Riga, Latvia: We've been experimenting with a completely new sound - one of the tracks we're working on right now features a 56 piece mouse choir. We went diving in Formentera too to record some noises from the dolphins.
