From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Obsitos is an operetta by Emmerich Kalman.

The first version, in Hungarian, with libretto by K. von Bakonyi, premiered in Vígszinház, Budapest on March 16, 1910.

The second, German version, Der Gute Kamerad, with libretto by Viktor Leon, premiered in Bürgertheate, Vienna on October 10, 1911. The story was changed ("transported" from Hungary to Austria).

The third version was created after the First World War (the war between Austria and Italy in 1850 was changed in the operetta for the actual First World War) and presented in Theather an der Wien.
