OBR Records

OBR Records was created in 1986. It is a subsidiary label of Def Jam Records. The label was for R&B artists including Oran "Juice" Jones, Alyson Williams and The Black Flames. During the mid 90s, the label would re-open its doors while operating under a new name: Def Soul Records. The label would create a successful roster of artists like Montell Jordan, Kelly Price, Sisqó, Lovher, Dru Hill, Patti LaBelle and others.
