Talk:Obould Many-Arrows

I've added Obould to the Fictional Orcs Category -- Ydirbut
Do we have a real orcs catergory? But seriously his son redirects to him so I'm losing the [[s until someone decides the son deserves his own spot Highlandlord 01:21, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
Who came up with the character in the first place?
[edit] Obauld was not created by Salvator
Obauld was created by WOTC before the Hunters Blade Trilogy was even created. Obauld was in the FRCS in 1999 when it was first written up. The Drew 17:17, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Orc King
It says "As of The Orc King, a hundred years have passed and it is not certain whether the current Obould is the Obould that Drizzt battled a century before." at the bottom of the article. I was under the clear impression that the novel The Orc King took place very shortly after the last Drizzt novel. Can anyone back up the claim that it is 100 years later? - I can back it up. If you go to the R A Salvatore home page there is a sample chapter of the new book, The Orc King. It names the Obould in that book as Obould the 6th. It also clearly states that the book is set a century after. Thank You for your concern. Drizzt Jamo 01:19, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- The book is out now, and the main part of the story does not take place 100 years in the future. Eventually this page on Obould should change to reflect that, though waiting until more people have read the book (to keep spoilers to a minimum) may be a good idea.
