I was born and grew up in Wales in the United Kingdom and am presently training to become a lawyer. Other than the law, my interests include politics, philosophy, working out and seeking out good entertainment. I have a particular interest in the Objectivist philosophy of Ayn Rand, hence my username ObjectiveBrit.
I listen to a lot of music (including though not only as background when I'm working), a large proportion of which is classical and opera, or middle of the road. That said, I also enjoy many forms of rock music and particlarly 1980s/early 90s adult contemporary.
Note: If I have left a message on your talk page, feel free to respond on that page if you wish, as I will be watching for any changes. I think the alternative system of splitting the conversation onto two talk pages can potentially lead to serious confusion.

[edit] WikiProject Objectivism
I have started a WikiProject to co-ordinate the creation and editing of comprehensive articles on Wikipedia covering all aspects of Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism and related persons/subjects.
Despite having been active on Wikipedia for some months, I have been reluctant to involve myself in the editing of many of the Objectivism-related articles, mainly due to the time consuming edit-wars that regularly take place on them. However, a recent discussion at Talk: Chris Matthew Sciabarra (in which I was involved) has demonstrated that disputes between Objectivists can be resolved amicably. It is my hope that a formal WikiProject would foster communication among Objectivist Wikipedians, and assist in overcoming the factionalism that so often causes editwars and other disputes on the Objectivism-related pages here.
