[edit] Wikipedia is not to be used for Advertisments
The current version of this article does not convey a Neutral point of view point of view and reads like an advertisement. Articles about companies are acceptable only if they are written in an objective and unbiased style. All editors should Assume good faith and work on re-writing Saxo Bank. You can also help Wikipedia by expanding itDrewwiki 06:48, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- I completely agree that Wikipedia shouldn't be used for advertising purposes. I think Drewwiki might be a bit extreme in this, and would suggest putting back some material, but it definitely has to be in NPOV. BTW Saxo Bank has a similar problem/solution, and the entire retail forex industry seems to be pretty aggressive about advertising on Wikipedia. Smallbones 11:29, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] This articles should have been deleted
In the scheme of things, no retail forex company matters all that much. All of these companies are using wikipedia for advertising purposes. They just aren't interesting with no serious influence on the financial markets.
The unfortunate part is because all of these retail forex market makers are on such a small level, no one really keeps track of them. further they are almost all private companies so very little data on them exists. Thus the articles that do have them are usually puff pieces that also function as adds.
