[edit] Neighborhood list

The Old Oak Cliff Conservation League (http://www.ooccl.com/neighborhoods.shtml) keeps a list and map of the original 23 neighborhoods which make up Oak Cliff.

A lot of these just appeared one day. Most of the red links look like the names of neighborhoods in southern california.. some in the midwest. Not sure if there's a way to verify them.. driving around Oak Cliff I have seen very few of the red-linked items. drumguy8800 C T 06:57, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

After some research, these Oak Cliff neighborhoods are legit: Arcadia Park, Beckley Club Estates, Beverly Hills, Bronx Park (there might need to be a separate entry for Bronx Park Place), Cadillac Heights, Carver Heights, Cedar Crest, Crestwood, Dallas Land & Loan (interesting history there) I & II, Dells District, Elmwood, Glendale, Glen Oaks, Hampton Hills, Highland Hills, Kessler Circle, Kessler Highlands, Kessler Park, Kessler Plaza, Las Villas, Lisbon, Los Encinos, Loupot Heights, L.O. Daniels, Mountain Creek, North Cliff, Oakland Terrace, Pinnacle Park, Ravinia Heights, Ruthmede Place, Singing Hills, Skyline Heights, Sunset Crest, Sunset Hills, Tenth Street District, The Bottoms, Trinity Heights, Westmoreland Heights, Westmount (it seems new), Wheatland Estates, Wheatland Estates, Wisdom Terrace, Woodland Terrace, and Wynnewood Hills.

Unknown, false, no independently verified info, or probably unencyclopedic (though much of the list borders that anyhow): Brooklyn Heights, Kernwood, Kiest Square, and Southern Hills.

May need to be added: Edgefield Heights

There, that only took me 30 minutes. Just go to town on Google; you'll find that many of those neighborhoods have associations with websites or at least descriptions of the others. Dirtydan667 22:50, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

There is a lot more content that can be added here and members of several local organizations, including the conservation league would like to make an addendum to this article. I will insert it over the next few days as I receive the content, after reviewing your policy. If any of those changes go against rules, please, PLEASE contact me so I can make adjustments rather than deleting it outright. The Oak Cliff community wishes to have better representation within Wikipedia WITHOUT breaking any of your rules. Thank you for your time. Cold-NiTe 02:19, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
