Oak Hills, CA is an unincorporated area of the high desert in the San Bernardino County, California. It is predominantly located West of U.S. Route 395, South Of Phelan Road, East of Baldy Mesa Road. There is a section located South of Bear Valley Road just East of Baldy Mesa Road and North of Phelan Road. It is a rural area consisting of R2.5 Zoning, with some lots as large as 5-10 acres. There is a large population of Joshua Trees and scrub oak. It is predominantly a mild desert terrain and climate. The community plan can be seen here. One group that is working to preserve their rural life-style, prevent dense population housing projects and continued adherence to the current community plan through local government is the Oak Hills Property Owners Association.
