Oakland Public Library, Oakland, ME; from a c. 1920 postcard published by Foster's Drug Store, Oakland, Maine. Built in 1913-1915 with a grant from Andrew Carnegie, the building was designed by architect Harry S. Coombs. In 2000, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
