Hi, I'm Oliver, a web developer and student (in that order) from London. I'm about to head off to the University of Portsmouth for a Bsc (Hons) in Psychology, and cant wait to get there.

I enjoy alternative/progressive music, with a few key favorites being Mew, Modest Mouse, Porcupine Tree, Pure Reason Revolution, My Bloody Valentine and Oceansize.

Since joining wikipedia i have come to believe a multitude of things:

1) The majority of people in the world cannot spell, use appropriate grammar or avoid messing with wikipedia.

2) The restrictions on semi-protected pages should be extended to all pages (no edits by any non-users or users who have existed for less than 4 days).

3) Only trusted users should be allowed to create new pages. As a person who spends most of their time categorising new articles, the number of badly written/written in a different language/incredibly biased/copied off another website articles I see drive me to despair.

In the end i'd describe myself as a believer in Sysopsism, in case you cant tell. I'll hopefully make admin at some point, and mainly plan to use it for things such as deleting any worthless articles i find (by worthless i mean CATRIN BATES IS A FAG" plastered 10 times across the page) and IP-blocks.
