Adoption

Hi, are you still interested in adoption? :) I need help, lol. Panfakes 16:28, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Circle shields and whatnot

I had some extra wikitime tonight, so I went ahead and transferred over the misplaced "elongated circle shields" that you asked about on IRC. I've tagged all the Circle sign.svgs with bad name, I'm not sure what needs to be done beyond that. I'll go through and do the same tomorrow on Commons:Category:Delaware State Route shields and Commons:Category:New Jersey State Route shields. -- NORTH talk 08:58, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Everything in the two categories above has been transferred over. However, these I did not tag with bad name, since I would have to do so manually, and I'm lazy.
In the interest of completeness, I transferred over the prefixed/suffixed NJ shields, even though I doubt they'll ever be used. However, I did not transfer Image:New Jersey 33 Business.svg. -- NORTH talk 17:32, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Someone removed the badname tags from the images I put them on because they weren't uploaded by myself. Oh well. -- NORTH talk 18:05, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Then use new name instead. V60 干什么? · VDemolitions · ER 3 15:46, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Signature

Hi - your signature is becoming increasingly unwieldy, being longer than many comments to which it is appendaed. I implore you to review WP:SIG, and note the reccommendation there that signatures should not exceed 200 characters in length - yours is currently 472 (including whitespace). Thanks, Martinp23 16:53, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Heya

Hey, take care! I had asked a question and you wiped it out! - Ta bu shi da yu 06:22, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

That was because the "request a reassessment" page was supposed to be in a specific format. Your comment was more of in a "talk page" format, so I had no choice but to remove it. I was hoping you'd catch that, and readd it in somehow. V60 干什么? · VDemolitions 22:17, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

Good faith?

I did assume good faith - that he put a lot of work into it. Unfortunately it has some pretty major problems, and cannot be a GA at this time. --NE2 02:40, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Might be of interest

I don't think it really means anything, but Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)#WP:AOL might be of interest to you. As long as your solution works, I'm fine accepting it on faith. (Sorry if that seems a little cryptic.) -- NORTH talk 21:08, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

State Route 1002 (Lehigh County, Pennsylvania)

Why did you move this back? I'm pretty much done with that article, thanks to you, but Johnny and I agreed that the new name was fine. --NE2 03:20, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Ah, but TMF, Rschen, Master_son, Polaron, and invisibly myself objected. They believed that the new article title did not fit. In fact, I have a log below:
TwinsMetsFan: 18:18, May 6, 2007 NE2 (Talk | contribs | block) m (moved Talk:State Route 1002 (Lehigh County, Pennsylvania) to Talk:Tilghman Street and Union Boulevard:
Rschen7754: why??????
TwinsMetsFan: yeah, but that name seems clunky
Master_son: WTF?
Master_son: Ask him
Rschen7754: it's 2 streets
TwinsMetsFan: "Tilghman Street and Union Blvd"
***TwinsMetsFan retches
vishwin60: he says that nobody would search for SR 1002
polaron: Tilghman Street alone is probably better
Master_son: sounds like an article about an intersection
Rschen7754: here we go: Interstate 280 and Interstate 880
vishwin60: no, they're two steets
TwinsMetsFan: Polaron: i'd have no problem if it had one name
Master_son: TMF: you gonna clean that up?
Rschen7754: rather, Interstate 280 and 880
TwinsMetsFan: but two is stupid
vishwin60: NE2's mentioning WP:COMMONNAMES
polaron: viswhin: yes but that can be explained in the article
TwinsMetsFan: Master son: possibly
Master_son: Common names?
Rschen7754: ahh. let's go drive down Tilghman Street and Union Blvd.
Rschen7754: i dont think so
Master_son: At the same time - I think not.
TwinsMetsFan: yeah, this move is plain stupid
vishwin60: I invisibly objected to the original move
vishwin60: so revert?
TwinsMetsFan: i would've objected had i seen the "proposal"
TwinsMetsFan: i would
polaron: do a RM rather than a plain revert
polaron: reverting is too antagonistic
vishwin60: reverted [move]

I hereby present you this Bronze Wiki Award

Coming across your userpage, I am awed. Excellent work putting it all together, but moreover, excellent work all around Wikipedia. Your WikiProject involvement is exceptional. Keep it up. Alex43223 T | C | E 04:16, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

I understand that the colors are difened by parser functions, but could you give us a little explaination instead of just removing the list of options? As little as a link to a list of colors would be useful. Adam McCormick 05:12, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I'm User:VanTucky and I've been perusing the list of adopters. I've got just over 4500 edits, mostly content stuff and deletionism for a select few articles with a small measure of RC and random page patrolling thrown in. I try to be on every day. I feel I have a good basic workman's grasp of Wikipedia policy, and have weathered enough edit warring (good riddance to that) and am slowly but surely learning the ropes. Mostly, I am of in desperate need of technical/computing advice with the occasional policy reminder. My tech problems are compounded by the fact that I am constantly switching between a PC and a Mac (FYI: on the PC I prefer Firefox and in general I am more comfortable with the Mac). Feel free to look me up some more and I look forward to hearing from you! VanTucky 23:30, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

How is this a concurrency? The subway carries the 1, and the road carries US 9. The caption looks like it's trying to be "cute". --NE2 06:37, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Warrior Nun Areala

I erased some of that information because I moved it to its own page titled, Sister Shannon Masters where it can be expanded specifically instead of left on a page talking about the comic in general, I left some information and a link to the new page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Alexis X 823543 (talkcontribs) 00:43, 19 May 2007 (UTC).

Userboxes

I personally have no objection (nor do I care) where userboxes are, but I advise against moving them around continuously in userspace, just as it's sort of pointless. —METS501 (talk) 01:17, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
