O. P. Jindal (7 August 1930, Hisar District, Haryana - 31 March 2005 Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh) was founder of Jindal Group in India, the third largest steel producer in the country.
He was also a former Member of Parliament and former Minister of Power, Government of Haryana. He died in a helicopter crash on 31 March 2005 in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
His son, Navin Jindal, is an industrialist and Member of Parliament from Kurukshetra.
