O'Neill of Clannaboy

The O'Neill of Clannaboy is one of the hereditary Chiefs of the name of Ireland and thus officially the head of the family descended from Niall of the nine hostages. The O'Neill family supplied many of the High Kings to Ireland in the middle ages. The senior branch of the family moved to Portugal in the Eighteenth Century, and the current holder of the title is Dr. Hugo Ricciardi O'Neill.
