  • Nysa (mythology), land in Greek mythology, where the young god Dionysus was raised.
  • MAKRIS (or Macris), also known as Nysa, was a honey-nymph daughter of the god Aristaios who nursed Dionysos in a cave on the island of Euboia. She was later driven from her home by the wrathful goddess Hera and settled on Korkyra, the home of the Phaiakians.
