Nymfes or Nimfes (Greek: Νύμφες meaning Nymphs) also with an y or an i accented is a village in the northern part of the island of Corfu. It serves the seat of the municipality of Nymfes. Its 2001 population was 756 for the village and 1,124 for the municipal district. Nymfes is located north of the city of Corfu and near Episkepsi. Several hills dominate the area and farmlands cover the area and the bay dominates the northeast, the 20th parallel east is about 2 km to the east along with the municipal boundary with Lefkimmi. It also has a nearby beach which makes the place famous.
