In professional wrestling, the NWA Hall of Fame is an institution that honors selected former employees of the National Wrestling Alliance. It was officially launched on October 8, 2005 with six initial members.[1] There has been one induction ceremony since then, on October 23, 2006, during which there were six more inductions.[1] Many of the inductions have been for people best known for their work outside the wrestling ring. Sam Muchnick and Jim Barnett are known for their work as promoters, while Gordon Solie and Lance Russell are best known as announcers. In addition, Jim Cornette and Saul Weingeroff worked for many years as managers.
