[edit] Spelling of subject title

The title of this page is incorrect. The firm was called "NV Ingenieurskantoor voor Scheepsbouw". Kantoor means "office" and is spelled with double "o" not double "n". Spelling is corrected within the entry itself. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.92.235.28 (talk) 00:19, 28 January 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Name

What does it mean ? -- Beardo 08:30, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

"NV" stands for a type of company, one with shares that are not made out with the name of the shareholder on them and could be publicly traded, "Ingenieurskantoor" translates as "office of engineers", "voor" means "for" and "Scheepsbouw" means "shipbuilding" or "ship construction"

So it roughly translates as "Office of Engineers for Ship Construction" -- 82.92.235.28 13:24, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
