[edit] Rahubaat.

What's happening, brother? I almost was a Nuwaubian some time ago. We really need more editors like you around here, because the lack of factuality and neutrality in some of the articles (especially ones pertaining to African-American studies and Black popular music) is astounding at times. --FuriousFreddy 02:27, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Hey

Sorry I didn't respond a month ago -- I was taking a much-needed break from this site. It looks like everything is fine wit hthe article now, but one of Wikipedia's biggest problems is that it is always left vulnerable to vandals. If you ever see any "repeat offenders" continuously destroying an article, list their username or IP address at Wikipedia: Vandalism in progress with a detailed description of the problem. Good luck editing, man. --FuriousFreddy 20:29, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re: Hotep

I'm looking for an online source right now, because I'm 200% sure there's a good one. If you have print books at your disposal, see if you can use one of those as well. Your little "friend" who's trying to brow-beat you on the "Hotep" talk page could help if he wanted to, but it's rather obvious he's on a serious "Egyptians were not black" bent and is dead-set on proving that his point-of-view is the only point of view (one of my main problems with Wikipedia). --FuriousFreddy 05:51, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Did the cleanup. We have to leave the specifics of the hotep greeting in Huwaubianism out for now, because I can't find the right online source for it. If you have some of the books which instruct the proper method of giving the greeting, that will suffice as a reference. --FuriousFreddy 06:55, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Hotep egyptian hieroglyph.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Hotep egyptian hieroglyph.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:05, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Hotep egyptian hieroglyph.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Hotep egyptian hieroglyph.png. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BrownCow • (how now?) 22:45, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Hotep egyptian hieroglyph.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Hotep egyptian hieroglyph.png. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BrownCow • (how now?) 17:37, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

You probably know that this isn't an appropriate page to create.--P4k 22:33, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedian religious racism

This is your last warning.
The next time you create an inappropriate page such as Wikipedian religious racism, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -WarthogDemon 22:36, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Please explain to me why you think this page is vandalism? I thought I was making some very valid points. You're actions are precisely the reason why I decided to create this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nuwaubian Hotep (talkcontribs) 22:45, 30 June 2007

Hi, I reverted your blanking of Template:ANI-notice. Please do not blank content from Wikipedia templates without first discussing on the talk page and leaving a descriptive edit summary as to why you are doing so.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 06:55, 3 September 2007 (UTC)\
The topic is no longer listed. I assumed the case was closed. Nuwaubian Hotep 20:30, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sunshine (2007 film)

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.

Also, you have been reverted by three different editors already. I implore you NOT to re-add your general discussion comments again without first reading wikipedia policy. Gwynand (talk) 18:52, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sunshine

There can be many perceived inaccuracies in a science fiction film, but there is no value in discussing such inaccuracies based on personal knowledge. It's considered original research since we cannot profess to play scientific critics, even when the facts seem obvious to us. Our primary role as editors is to report inaccuracies from independent sources that have commented on the film. There are some in the Critical reaction section already, and perhaps there's a source out there that makes the same observation that you did. Without sourcing, though, discussion on the science behind the film does not help improve the article. Now, I realize that there are discussions about the inaccuracies already exist, but they should have been removed when they first emerged. It's not generally proper etiquette to go back two weeks and blank old discussions. Your discussion was reverted to quell a trend that would not be appropriate for the talk page of a Wikipedia article. Let me know if you have any questions. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 19:01, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Warnings

I have restored previous messages from other posters on this page as it demonstrates clearly that many users have found you difficult to work with. If you wish to remove clutter from your talk page, you may archive content on sub-pages linked from this one. Considering your edits to the article amen today, pushing a fringe theory that has already been discussed, that page has been protected for a week. When the protection expires, if you edit this article to include your theory again, you will be blocked from editing. — Gareth Hughes (talk) 17:41, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

It's amazing how you can deduce that Wikpedians find me difficult to work with from a comment I left on a talk page about a science fiction movie. Simply amazing.. No, I think I will allow these comments to stay. They shall serve their purpose. In the interim I suggest you checkout the contribution I added to the Iah page. Nuwaubian Hotep (talk) 19:01, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] More info?

If you could provide me with a few names, like that of the page in question and possibly some other information, it would help a lot. John Carter (talk) 18:35, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
