Talk:Nutley High School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For anyone out there who reads this, HELP ME. Even though I'm an alumni at this high school, I still don't know what should be deemed notable for the article about it. Any suggestions? -ManVsMachine
Well for my high school, Boston College High School, it shows WHY the school is important. You could keep it short with location and anything the school should be noted for. If it's a truly average school, (Academics, History, Athletics) then it will eventually be deleted. I tagged expand on it and stubbed it. I'll be willing to help. Yanksox 03:00, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Necessary/Unnecessary Expansion
After overlooking other high schools on Wikipedia, it seems that there is only so much one can put in informing others without being redundant.
So I ask, if I should contribute the different academics, athletics, teacher faculty, room locations, clubs, other associated info? ManVsMachine
If any of those things seperates this school from others then put it down. If it is not worthwhile, I will change it. Nothing personal, I'm just willing to work with you. Also, please sign your posts with this: ~~~~. It helps to organize this conversation. Yanksox 03:35, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] TRL Contribution
Not many people may remember this, but it happened. And I still cannot believe it. I have sources for proof, but I don't know where to put them specifically. And I also forgot to log in when I contributed this, and I was wondering if I could replace my IP adress with my Username. ManVsMachine
[edit] NHS as a Film/TV production site
Hi there. Another NHS alumni here ('89).
I know for a fact that NHS has been used at least twice for location shooting. This could be used to differentiate the school from being average.
One time, the hallway outside the reception area (by the band hall) was used in the film "Seven Minutes in Heaven" (1985).
Recently, Law and Order: SVU shot scenes of the Raiders (football team) practicing in fictional uniforms (needs confirmation). I'll track down the episode title and synopsis. GaryEA 20:27, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
