"Nuttin' Wrong with Candy" is an episode of the Happy Tree Friends Flash cartoon series. This is also the episode that first features Nutty, the candy addicted squirrel who can never satisfy his sweet tooth, which is always his downfall.

Vending machines are tricky for candy-loving squirrels! Nutty shakes and jitters as he tries hard to get his next candy buzz. Is it worth it in the end?[1]
[edit] Plot
Nutty the Squirrel is having one of his candy urges and decides to take a bite off of the lollipop on his head, and when he does, he gets an intense sugar rush and all of the other pieces of Candy drop off, leaving him 'exposed', so to speak. Although that lollipop was good, he wanted some more candy, and, conveniently, there was a vending machine nearby.
Nutty goes over to the vending machine and puts in a coin, the coil slowly lets the candy bar closer to him, Nutty jitters with anticipation, the flops down, but stops. It's stuck on the coil, this really irritates Nutty, so he tries to reach into the vending machine's opening to get it out.
Nutty grabs a hold of the candy bar and starts to pull, but it won't budge, he pulls harder, only to get a searing pain through his arm, or at least what's left of it, his arm has ripped off! Even though he has lost his arm, Nutty still cares more about the Candy and grabs onto the Vending Machine, foaming at the mouth; but this was a mistake, the Vending Machine topples over onto him, trapping him inside of it.
With Nutty trapped in the Vending Machine, you thought it could be the worse moment of his life; he doesn't think so, he may have glass in his face, but he has candy in his mouth, and that makes him happy. But, before he can enjoy his little treat, the coils activate and edge closer to him, but all Nutty can do is scream as he ripped apart by the coils. Only the blood shows the penalty for selfish desire. Not only that, the stuck candy bar came loose after all; but it's in the Vending Machine that just dismembered him, so there's definitely no way he could get to it.

- The Vending Machine kills Nutty after he accidentally topples it over onto himself, embedding glass into him and leaving him stuck in the vending machine, the coils activate and they rip him apart (but only the blood is seen).

After Nutty loses his arm, his tail disappears briefly.
