Nutrient-rich, low calorie diets or low/high diets are diets that are low in calories yet high in nutritional value. The diets usually have beneficial capabilities on regards of health (usually involving life extension). The term is coined by scientists worldwide,[1] as well as by the father of the CR-diet (or CRON-diet), Roy Walford.[2]
