discuss some of the professional attributes required for nursing practice.

[edit] Merger

I think that this article should be incorporated into the main article on nursing and then deleted. The alternative is to delete the section in nursing and incorporate into nursing practice. The discussion can be found at talk:nursing#suggestion --Vincej 09:15, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Oppose

Nursing practice needs to remain, as nursing is a practice based discipline. It can be developed to identify the range of practice environments, the range of competencies nurses have and also the diverse levels within individuals scope of practice Ianguy

Strongly oppose. Under the same line of reasoning, nursing process should be merged into the main article. THB 11:07, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

If we are to pursue the strategy of a number of articles which are linked to the main article on nursing then we need to start expanding the smaller articles. I am still inclined toward the idea of merging them. This may be stating the obvious but what we need is an easy way for someone who doesn't know much about nursing to easily find out what it is about. I am not sure if at the moment we have achieved this. --Vince 11:03, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
