Nursing and Health Care Management
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Nursing and Health Care Management Program (or NHCM for short) at the University of Pennsylvania is a Joint-Degree Program offered through the School of Nursing and the Wharton School of Business. Students graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Economics (BSE) from the Wharton School and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the Nursing School.
The program is typically completed in 4 - 5 years. Students gain exposure to both the clinical and business settings. Within the nursing school, students complete seven-week rotations as upperclassmen in hospitals like the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In Wharton, students are exposed to Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing and Operations.
