Nursery Road Elementary School

Nursery Road Elementary School is a school located in the Irmo/Seven Oaks area in the U.S. state of South Carolina at 6706 Nusery Road. The principal is Dr. Mary Kennerly. The school is part of School District 5 of Lexington and Richland Counties. The school's mascot is a yellow person with his arms up; a "champion." The school offers K4-fifth grade, and after leaving the students continue to CrossRoads Middle School. After the students leave Crossroads, they go on to Irmo Middle School, then Irmo High School. Its mission is to produce citizens who Nurture, Respect, Experience, and Succeed. It is a national blue ribbon school and a first amendment school.

During the 1996-97 school year, Nursery Road Elementary School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education[1][2], the highest award an American school can receive.[3][4]
