Nur Pak was a religious figure of the 15th century. Not much is known about him, but he is believed to have lived in Balochistan, specifically in Makran. Nur Pak claimed to be the mahdi, and was a reformer of Islam in his area. He introduced new teachings that would grow into to Zikri sect.
He is not seen as a Prophet or Messiah by most Muslims, rather he is viewed as a heretic.
Historically there have been dozens of claims to be Mehdi by different entities around the world, but none has yet proven right. As per teachings of Islam, Mehdi is supposed to lead Muslims towards re-emergence, rivival of Islam and then this will lead to the Final Day. But none of the claimant Mehdis has lived till that day.
