Nupraptor is a video game character in the first Legacy of Kain game. In Blood Omen, he was voiced by Richard Doyle.
Nupraptor served as the Guardian of the Pillar of the Mind for about 500 years, from after Vorador's assault on the Circle until his death at Kain's hands. As Guardian of the Pillar of the Mind, Nupraptor commanded powers such as telekinesis, telepathy, empathy and clairvoyance. Nupraptor was the lover of Ariel, the Balance Guardian and upon her death, he fell into sorrow and madness. This led him to sew his eyes and mouth shut to deny the outside world. Because of Nupraptor's psychic link to the rest of the members of the Circle, he drove the other members to madness to share in his despair.
When Kain started his journey to kill the members of the Circle, Nupraptor was his first target. When the young vampire confronted Nupraptor, Malek the Sarafan appeared to protect him. Nupraptor dismissed Malek and fought Kain himself, a battle which ended with Kain's victory and Nupraptor's death.
