Talk:Nummular dermatitis

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I started noticing small spots on my inner arms several years ago. I assumed it was just nothing. However, within the last 5 years these spots have become larger and more intense on my buttocks, inner lower arms and inner knees. They remind me of ringworms. I first thought this was associated with the fact that I had adopted a new puppy around the same time I notices the small spotys. I still have this dog and he seems to have allergies which i nclude acratching and red spots on his tummy at times. Through my co nstant reserach I believe that these lesions are nummular dermatitis. They come and go; no obvious reason why they lie dormant for weeks and then suddenly there they are again. I realize that there is no cure for this skin disorder but it has taken some quality of life from me and I need help of any kind.
