I'm always a little hesitant to write on a topic where I have no expertise and have only one source, but Tom Bissel's book on Uzbekistan, Chasing the Sea was very favorably reviewed and appears to be very evenhanded, so I haven't hesitated to draw from it. - Jmabel | Talk 06:51, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
