Nueva Paz is a municipality and city in the La Habana Province of Cuba. It was founded in 1802.[1]

In 2002, the municipality of Nueva Paz had a population of 24,281.[3] With a total area of 515 km² (198.8 sq mi),[2] it has a population density of 47.1/km² (122/sq mi).
The municipality is divided into the barrios of Bagáez, Ciudad, Jagua, Navarra, Palos, San Luis, Vegas and Yaya.[1]
