Nueva Concepción

Nueva Concepción is a municipality in the Chalatenango department of El Salvador.

The city of Nueva Concepcion is located in the department of Chalatenango in the North region of the country. basing the economic income in agriculture and ganaderia. In Nueva Concepcion you can find many good places of Rio Lempa, Rio Jayuca, Rio Moja Flores, Rio San Nicolas and other rivers. Nueva Concepcion is also known by its water park "Splash" where you can relax and spend some really good time.

The main way to get to Nueva Concepcion is (coming from San Salvador) take carretera troncal del norte going towards chalatenango, turn over the junction towards Nueva Concepcion (km45), then about 18 km you get to the city borders of Nueva Concepcion.
