Nude Records was a London based record label, set up by Saul Galpern in 1991. The label's first success was with Suede in 1993. Other artists signed to the label included Geneva and Black Box Recorder. The label became over time, an indie outlet for Sony with the recordings going through 3mv and sine distribution, and when Nude Records ceased activity in December 2001, some of the acts (such as Suede) were moved over to the main Sony Music UK Record Label.
In January 2005 the company tried a comeback with the release of the compilation album Future's Burning, featuring songs from young British bands like Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and many more. November 2005 saw the release of a single by newcomer band Duels. Currently the label operates through a deal with V2 Records.
