NuBox

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NuBox is a German jazz band, which was founded in 1984 as Blue Box by Alois Kott. Kott, together with Reiner Winterschladen und Peter Eisold performed at the Jazz Festival of Berlin in 1985. This was one of their first concerts together as a band. Their first album, Sweet Machine, which was released in 1985, enabled them to start a tour in which they would perform more than 400 times in Europe and Asia.

After releasing four more albums, the band split up. Ten years later they regrouped as NuBox, and subsequently released an album titled Sonic Screen.
