NTV Canada (НТВ in Cyrillic) is a Canadian category 2 Russian language digital cable specialty channel and is owned by Luba Cherny—the founder and publisher of Russian ethnic newspapers Canadian Courier and Karousel. It broadcasts programming from NTV Russia and local Canadian content, such as I love shopping with Luba Dobryak, Afisha with Svetlana Dvoretskaya, and Today and Yesterday with Vladimir Kanevski. The channel broadcasts a variety of programming including seven live daily newscasts, talk shows, films, serials, and Russian and European soccer.
