Angela Willis is a fictional character on the animated series Queen of The Willis , and is voiced by Lacey Cahbert. She is the spouse of Aeverine Willis and the mother of Tom and Deanna, and the owner of Heather, the family lobster. She is a substitute Accounting teacher, as well as an accountant at Babyface High School.
Born in Marion, Indiana to coal industrialists Ned and Lisa Shanks in 1970, she moved to Quillsville for high school. Her father was extremely critical, and her mother was aloof and spoke in obtuse nature metaphors. In fact, the suggestion early in the series is that Angela left her parents behind when she went to Quillsville in 1984.
[edit] Personality
Angela is consistently depicted as crude and lowbrow. She enjoys activities such as going to up-market tailors and farting inside the suits. Her favorite pastime is watching TV with friends and having sex. She is also a huge Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy fan.Proud and egocentric, in later episodes she tends to come off as arrogant and a know-it-all, and quite often has to be taken down a notch.
Angela also has a habit for proving her femininity, not wanting Aeverine to fall for another woman (or even a transgendered man.) She is incredibly jealous of other attractions Aeverine has in her life, an attitude that tends to get out of hand in most cases; in "Where There's Pressure, There's Affairs", she goes so far as to punching her reflection in the mirror after Aeverine comments on her reflection being pretty sexy. However, she seems not to mind the fact that Aeverine, of course, slept with another women (Brittani Hicks) before they met in 1983, just so long as she doesn't do so again.
Angela seems to find it frustrating when she is "usually wrong" while Aeverine is "usually right" about issues most the time, and apparently takes these issues competitively, just waiting for the day Aeverine slips up. This day has not finally come yet.
