The National Science Foundation- Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP) is a grant provided by the National Science Foundation to fund graduate research in certain areas of science, social science and engineering. The grant covers the cost of tuition and fees and provides the student with an annual $30,000 stipend over three years. The grant can be deferred or suspended for up to two years; the complete grant tenure must be finished within five years.
