NRK P1

NRK P1 is one of NRK's radio stations, and the most popular radio station in Norway with approximately 1.9 million listeners daily.

The radio station is NRK's first radio station, and its transmissions started in 1933. The station is aimed at Norway's broad mature demographic. P1's head office is located at Tyholt in Trondheim and most of its broadcasts are transmitted from Tyholt, except the news and some other programmes which are transmitted from Marienlyst in Oslo. The station also has six hours of local transmissions daily:
