Hi!
I would suggest a temporary block. Maybe this could help to make the vandal IP lose interest in the article. --Fromgermany 17:25, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Not enough vandalism by this IP for a block yet. If vandalism is light, just watch the article and revert/warn as necessary. It is on my watchlist and I will revert blatant stuff and warn. After 4 warning IP can be blocked. Don't know the subject well enough to catch subtle misinformation though. --NrDg 17:38, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
Oh dear, I thought you're a sysop. Sorry for my somewhat rapid suggestion but I'm used to the German Wikipedia's way how to deal with IP vandalism - quick and harsh and often by "yelling" at the IP and calling him/her all kinds of names. :-( --Fromgermany 17:41, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
That's OK. I did gave him a final warning. If he does it again, anywhere, I will report to WP:AIV to request a block. Don't need to be a sysop to request blocks, just got to follow the warning requirements as listed in WP:AIV. --NrDg 17:46, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Sorry

I just think that Miley Cyrus doesn't sing her own songs because her voice is unnatural. If I knew about the sandbox or how to use it, I would've done it.--67.87.67.175 23:08, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

OK, that's cool. Just be sure you have good references in the future before putting in stuff that can be considered defamatory to a real person. --NrDg 23:15, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Editor adding junk to Miley (Cyrus & Stewart) articles

Noticed we've had different articles with the same junk additions:

She is currently dating Patrick DeMichele of Xaverian Brothers High School who is 14 years of age.

Think we may be dealing with a sockpuppeter? WAVY 10 Fan 21:02, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Probably, but it is hit-and-run, different IPs each time. Impossible to do anything about except revert and hope he gets bored. --NrDg 21:06, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Opinion

Hi NrDg, I ran across a removal issue while doing RC patrol, and read the talk page, where the consensus seems to be to keep the RIAA ratings for albums. However, an editor is removing them, and I've requested he discuss the issue, to which he replied that "I don't want the RIAA ratings on the page". Rather than engage in an edit war, I'd like to get your input on the Billy Ray Cyrus discography talk page, as I notice you've edited the page in the past, and perhaps could weigh in your thoughts. I personally have no clue how many sales figures equals a gold/platinum record, so the RIAA column in the table is quite helpful to me, providing valuable context to the sales figures. I imagine I'm not alone in that, but would appreciate your comments, Thanks! ArielGold 23:06, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

I have already said most of what I believe should be done, added some more, hopefully to be helpful. I fear that we have an ownership problem with one obstinate editor and I am pessimistic about getting unanimity on this issue. Minus one person, we already have consensus. I would hate to stay in this continued edit/revert war that has been ongoing for quite a while now. --NrDg 02:11, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for looking into it. Somehow in the last day I've been drawn into two musical issues, via just patrolling recent changes, this one, and the edit war over Boy band, lol. And I rarely edit or even read music stuff, go figure! Thanks again! ArielGold 02:38, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
I think this is more about general wiki policy and applying it to this article. Specific content is not the real issue. I appreciate your help. --NrDg 02:44, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Re: this, what do you mean by try again? You removed the birthdays because you said there was no reference for it. If that was your reason then why didn't you remove other things from the article (or the whole article for that matter) since there were no references at all in the entire article? Then I added the information back with a reference for it and you removed more than what was there to begin with. I really wish you'd get your reasons straight for removing things before you actually remove them. --Ospinad 21:52, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

I meant only that I'd try again. I'm sorry my comment was poorly worded.
The issue I have is with the reference you used. Stuff that is not private biographical information does not matter too much if it is poorly referenced but personal stuff needs solid references. See WP:BLP for more information. Yeah it is a judgment call but generally wikipedia policy is to err on the side of removing poorly supported stuff from bio articles particularly stuff about private life details about non-notable relatives. I looked at the YouTube link and could not verify whether or not it is "Official" or just a fan site. Too many posers call things "Official" so I actively mistrust self declarations. Her official site is down so no verification there. We should probably remove the YouTube reference as well as a spam link unless there is something authoritative that proves it belongs to her. I did look for confirmation but not exhaustively. --NrDg 22:24, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Zoey 101 Split Article

Oh, what I intended for was to expand the Zoey 101 article section about characters that include more than just the regulars and the two formers. I'm about to add more information about Mark DelFiggalo, Stacey Dillsen (cotton swabs), the girl's dorm advisor Coco, Dean Rivers, and Kazu, the owner of the PCA sushi restaurant, Sushi Rox. - Yours truly, Superior(talk) 02:02, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

I kind of figured that. The person who gave you the warning message was confused though. --NrDg 02:12, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

The correct facts are the ones reported by the link to the primary source referenced in the cite, http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/next/. Since that is trivial to check out (which I did do), I presume that the changes to make the data wrong are deliberate. --NrDg 19:38, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

I will remove episode information that I can't independently verify is correct. If you have a good source, include that information in the article as a reference or as a comment to give me a place to look. A lot of people just make things up, so I don't trust anything I can't verify. --NrDg 20:46, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
here is one http://youtube.com/watch?v=7TPFCfSpV9Q for Miss PCA http://youtube.com/watch?v=GM91PYz_ulE here is Logan gets cutt off and that is all —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.51.231.21 (talk) 21:04, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
I'm not so much concerned whether the data is true or not, and it is obviously true, but whether or not there is a reference that can be placed in the article to back up the information. Wikipedia prohibits linking to copyright violations, which, unfortunately, the videos on YouTube are. When TV Guide, the show's official web site, or even TV.com lists the episodes, there is no problem with adding them to the article. It is best to have the planned broadcast date as well. There is no need for Wikipedia to be first with the data, just that it be correct and verifiable. If you add the data back, I'll let it go, but others might not. --NrDg 21:20, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

ifound out that miss pca is after logan gets cut off and it will air in december 16 or 23 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.51.231.21 (talk) 01:17, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Where did you find this out from? TV Guide has nothing yet and I can't find anything in any reliable place that supports anything after Logan Gets Cut Off. Please wait for it to be listed in TV Guide. There is no hurry to get this stuff in the article. --NrDg 01:29, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

well if you look at he airing it is usally next sunday the episodes air or the ones after that —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.51.231.21 (talkcontribs) 14:10, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

We are not supposed to make predictions about the future and use that prediction in the article. See WP:CRYSTAL. Wait for the info to show up in a reliable source. --NrDg 14:28, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

look at what i just found http://television.aol.com/show/zoey-101/158237/main weird it's miss pca here is another one i'm really confussed http://television.aol.com/show/zoey-101/158237/upcoming plz look at this —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.51.231.21 (talk) 03:44, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Looks like a reasonably good reference. TV Guide and TitanTV don't list it yet. If you add the episode to the article, the web site you found can be used to justify it. It needs to be in the article as a reference though as other guides don't list it yet. If you don't know how to add references just put the location in like you did here and someone else can fix it up. --NrDg 04:22, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

i'm doing it now and it is after logan gets cut off so if Miss PCA is not on plz don't et mad at me —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.51.231.21 (talk) 12:32, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

http://epguides.com/Zoey101/ is not a reliable reference as it is created and maintained by some anonymous person so we can't depend on that data being accurate. You've already added Miss PCA with a good reference. --NrDg 02:39, 27 November 2007

No it is not. http://www.episodeguides.com/ is not a reliable reference as it is created and maintained by some anonymous people so we can't depend on that data being accurate. It has no reputation for fact checking. --NrDg 23:25, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Keke Palmer vandalism

I've noticed two patterns, and not from just one source. First is the age issue ... that change has been reverted multiple times, but I can't find any source of the confusion. I'm not so sure it's vandalism.

The other one that I've had to revert out several times is the addition of a new movie, "Keep It Movin'", accompanied by a deletion of a movie that seems pretty solid for release next month, "Cleaner". That one is usually accompanied by either corruption of the existing "Keep It Movin'" article or an attempt to create a new one (one just got speedied tonight).

Do you have any idea where these are coming from? Or do you really think that it is just fixated vandals?Kww (talk) 03:33, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

I think we need to justify the current birth date with a reference - I have one I found on her official site. Gumbo Magazine JUL06 page 31 written by Ebony Haynes - Born August 26, 1993 in Harvey Ill. Changing of birth date seems to be a fairly common form of sneaky vandalism. I never trust an IP with little or no history changing dates particularly long established dates in articles. I call this one vandalism.
Cleaner is solid and well backed up. I think changed it in the article is a hoax or speculation. I'll keep an eye out for it. --NrDg 04:13, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Hoax, I think

That "Deluxe" edition of "Headstrong" is a hoax, so far as I can tell. I'll give it a day for a reference, and then delete it.Kww (talk) 00:25, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Alyssa Milano edits

there's a thing on there saying to "add references." how is anyone other than the original author supposed to do that if you revert their edits? obviously, the original author didn't care enough to add their references, so i added the sites that were most likely to have been their references. if we're supposed to "improve this article" by adding references, we should be allowed to do so. EllieNeo (talk) 00:22, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

This is a biography article and should conform to WP:BLP policies. Basically anything added that is personal, private or potentially defamatory needs a reference and must be immediately removed when there is a non-existent or poor reference. Other stuff can be left in if it looks plausible and wait for references. The links you added and called references were already in the article in the External links section. A valid reference will be connected to the information being supported and not by just some general link to an external site. See WP:REF for more information. What we are supposed to do to improve the article is look in the external links, and find support for the information in the article. Then create a citation that points to the specific place that supports that information. --NrDg 00:38, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
ok i'll do that when i have time, thanks. EllieNeo (talk) 07:17, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

regarding my comments on Dolly Parton

I can assure you the quotes i mentioned about Dolly Parton being attracted to women are well documented in the press and the internet, etc. and after much research I can say without a doubt they are true, and 100 percent correct. So please, just because you dont like the fact that Dolly Parton publicly admitted her bisexual tendencies, (or because you are being paid by a publicist to cover the truth) please dont delete them. thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.3.182.78 (talk) 10:29, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

I object to the fact that you didn't provide references to the information as required by Wikipedia policy about biographies of living people. See WP:BLP. If the information is well documented then it should be easy to provide the required references in the article. --NrDg 14:03, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

List of Hannah Montana episodes

Sorry, didn't realize that wasn't open to the public as Im a registered member there...Anyways they are legit and if you search for them elsewhere you can find their existence as well. I figure its more beneficial to put in the correct eps now, as we all know its a page thats frequently vandalized and having all the remaining episodes of the season would put an end to a majority of the people believing they know an ep or just feel like making one up as all episodes would already be accounted for...just my two cents...so you can change it back if you want, but i wont do anymore unless you agree. Grande13 (talk)

although the sugar one should be added back as thats already verified on the page...Grande13 (talk)
Most of the episode info that people add is rooted from a blacklisted site, TVRAGE.com, that we can't use as a reference - I tried once and Wikipedia rejected it. Most other sites get their information from TVRAGE. I have no doubt that the episodes listed there will actually eventually air, but without a reference we can use we can't list them in the list of episodes page. For one thing the order is usually wrong, they don't have the real air date, and I have found that a lot of the details they list turn out wrong - definition of unreliable. What I have been doing is looking in TV Guide and other published directories for confirmation about the episodes and added or allowing the ones that have an actual listed broadcast date. Also the episodes that have actually aired in the UK and I can confirm the details by watching the episode myself. It serves no purpose to just add a list of future named episodes with unreliable descriptions. Other places do that and it is not something that is a value add for Wikipedia to do. Listing things in the notes section about future stuff that is backed up with a reference is fine but I don't think it should be in the table until we get rock solid reliable details and that includes a real listed airdate. I got the page semi-protected a couple of times to head of the IP users adding made up and unreliable information. That has headed off most of the made up ones. If you think things are bad now, see what happens when the semi-protect expires on the 29th. --NrDg 18:31, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Well showfax is a legit agency that disney turns to for casting for a majority of their shows, including hannah montana. Disney submits the episode titles, along with characters that need to be cast and sends it to ShowFax who then had auditions for the desired roles. Thats as legit as it gets, and is probably the source that tvrage first acquired the info from anyways. Only issue being you need to be a registered member there for it to be legit, there is nothing on wikipedia saying that a source can't come from a site that must be free...so I still feel they should be added back, unless you find somewhere that showfax isn't a reliable source. Also, the UK airs these ahead of schedule. I'm going to add them back to the list, but in a different format to help remove crystal balling until an airdate is in effect. Grande13 (talk) 19:00, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wp:el#Sites_requiring_registration. If people can't independently verify the information at a source, then the source isn't really usable. Also the data sent to casting people is tentative and the plot information can and does change because of changes made to the script during shooting and changes made in final edit. The title may even change. An example is the episode about Lilly's mom. The original episode summaries were completely different than what was actually broadcast, but the casting was the same. Disney shows the shows out of shooting order as well and we can't know the order of the episodes until they are listed. For these reasons I am opposed to adding the episode titles unreliable episode descriptions. I class ShowFax unreliable for the purposes of what is needed in this article as they have only planning information, not completion information. Before adding this to the article in any format, please open a discussion on the discussion page to get other peoples inputs. I will go with consensus but right now we don't have one. --NrDg 19:35, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody

Ok! Thanks for the advice. Also, about other Disney Channel series: Hannah Montana, is necessary that characters like Rico, Roxy, ... have a complete article about any of them? I think is better to merge them into the article about minor characters, also I consider merge all the main characters into an article named Hannah Montana main characters or something like that. What do you think? (sorry for my bad english) --Kanon6917 (talk) 01:36, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Rico is one of the main characters. All the main characters in Hannah Montana have their own article. I'd recommend not changing this without some discussion first in talk:Hannah Montana. I see no harm leaving things as they are for now and oppose creating a single article for the Hannah Montana main characters. --NrDg 01:47, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:HM-MMC Tour Movie poster.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:HM-MMC Tour Movie poster.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 19:42, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

All done as required. These bots are fast at tagging. I was in the middle of doing the rationale when it got tagged. I'll remember to do up the rationale BEFORE I upload an image next time. --NrDg 19:52, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Adminship nomination

I will create the page if you accept. :) Nishkid64 (talk) 02:09, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
I would accept a nomination to become an administrator and appreciate your evaluation that I can be trusted to appropriately use the additional tools that are made available to admins. I have been scanning some of the rfas and, based on what I've seen, think that my chances are, at this time, marginal for being confirmed due to limited experience in some of the areas administrators are expected to be proficient. I myself don't think this is a problem as I won't use the tools in new areas until I am certain I know what is expected and will request help when I'm not sure, but I am uncertain how others will view this limitation. --NrDg 16:37, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Personally, I don't think this is a problem. You don't need to have experience in all admin-related fields if you do not plan to work in those fields in the first place. You have done AIV reporting, CSD tagging, made RFPP requests, posted items at UAA and dealt with sockpuppets. Those are excellent I will make the RfA page now. :) Best of luck, Nishkid64 (talk) 17:44, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/NrDg

I have been accused of being a sockpuppet of a banned user. I assert the accusation is not true. The accusation appears to be from the sockpuppeteer himself and I don't know why I was targeted for a false accusation.

My current IP is 71.221.116.150 and it is a dynamic one from a DSL pool. I have no problems with people associating my user name with my current IP as my phone company likes to change it every once and a while - I guess because I didn't pay the money to get a static one. --NrDg 23:43, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Neutral RfA vote

I voted neutral because that is my choice. I do not know what bejiboi was referring to about my start up record, other then my neutral comment about 10-06-2007 coincided with my first edit 10-05-2007. I am a manager in real life, and a physiology graduate. I look at things through a different perspective. I look at actions and words. On 10-06-2007, I read this User talk:NrDg/Archive 071102#Read and I read on downward. Something struck me as if you were hit in the head about wikipedia. And I mean that as a good thing. Your words and actions changed in my eyes as a more understanding person. As I said at the time “This is the closest I have gotten to giving support to someone”. My thoughts about RfA’s are that they should have experience in all facets of wikipedia. Not just being an expert in one or two categories. And be able to make sound decisions when needed. To seek out advise before making unsure decisions’. --Jeanenawhitney (talk) 07:30, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your explanation. I guess I am too close to see changes in myself and it is good to get an view from an astute observer. Looking over those postings I see what you mean. I have been and continue to read Wikipedia documentation and watch the behavior of other editors I admire to see what is effective and also to better understand the overall unwritten background culture. There are some ah-ha moments of understanding that I guess get reflected in my behavior. Going in to this process I pretty much agreed with your thoughts on RfA's and I thought yours would be the consensus opinion, which is why I am a bit surprised at the support I am gaining. --NrDg 14:31, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

I know that being an admin is not a trophy (all I got was this stupid mop) but the peer review and general positive experience of going through the process felt very rewarding to me. I will endeavor to live up to the trust and high expectations of you and all the reviewers. Now it is onto the reading list for me. --NrDg 18:34, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Unblocked

I've unblocked 70.108.140.158 (talkcontribsinfoWHOIS), since it appears the vandalism was mistaken. He was deleting a duplicated section; it only looked like vandalism. I didn't think you'd object, so I went ahead and unblocked him before waiting on your input. --Haemo (talk) 20:30, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

That's fine. It was hard to understand his comments and what he was trying to do particularly with his deleting talk page comments. I think a few hours for everything to cool down is sufficient. --NrDg 20:36, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Hannah Montana: The Movie poster

Why do you keep deleting my Hannah Montana poster. And if non fair rational is why, how do I fix that? Take me through it step by step please. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rjg214 (talkcontribs) 23:12, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

The poster doesn't belong to this movie. See image:HM-MMC Tour Movie poster.jpg for what is generally required when you do upload images. Also note that this image is the exact same one you uploaded and is currently appropriately attached to the PROPER movie. --NrDg 23:18, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Block

I have a question about your block on this IP. I'm new, so I am trying to understand the reason for a 6 month block on what looks to be a dynamic IP. I blocked the same user for the same vandalism [1] a half hour later so he looks to be a roving vandal. Does this user look to be an owner of a static range that should be range blocked? On the surface 6 months looks unnecessary to me. --NrDg 17:10, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

Yes, that was an unusual circumstance, I wouldn't generally block for that long the first time around. The report and the history indicated a multi-month troll who was vandalizing and [2] other users, and I received a request for a longer block on this IP, so I complied. I've tweaked the block to allow for account creation and shortened it by half. We may have to do a range block or semi-protect pages, we'll have to keep an eye out and see how it goes...thanks for the question and letting me know about the follow-up vandalism from the same user. Dreadstar 18:09, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the explanation. I've adjusted the block on the second IP to match your change to the first one. --NrDg 18:44, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Cool, thanks! Dreadstar 21:26, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
He is a roving IP sock for sure. See Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of 116.14.112.226. Got another one last night (121.7.200.93 (talk · contribs)) after he started targeting me. Doesn't look like he returns to his old IPs so long term blocks probably won't effect him in any way. Just have to watch for his pattern of attack, I guess. Looks pissed off at Wiki admins and I don't think he understands the rules and thinks they're stupid rules. Could be a cultural thing. Not sure what went on. Some of his stuff is good faith, then he goes on a rampage. --NrDg 21:35, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Possible sock activity

Having just blocked User:Keepweek90 for being a sock of User:Roadcrusher, you might want to keep an eye on User:Trulystand700. I noticed on here that the user used the exact same NFU templates and warnings as User:Keepweek90 did on his recently-deleted images. Odd that another user would use the same wording, especially so since the new image appears to belong to NASA, and would therefore probably be PD! - BillCJ (talk) 20:32, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll watch. So far his activity appears positive. --NrDg 20:40, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Hello

I remember reading that Cyrus dated Nick Jonas in people magizine. May you do me a favor and check the current requests for protection and unprotection.--RandomGuy 9929 (talk) 18:14, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Looks like your requests at WP:RPP are being handled. The dating info in People Mag was valid at the point in time of the interview and Billy Ray's statement is ambiguous. --NrDg 18:42, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Map

I want to upload a map of The Triborough Bridge from this website on google [3] can i upload and put it on the page about the Triborough please respond. --Trulystand700 —Preceding comment was added at 22:08, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

No, that would not be usable unless the copyright owner is willing to or already has released it to public domain. See WP:FU#Unacceptable images. The site www.ny.com likely has permission to use or owns the copyright to the map. You can create your own version of this illustration, as long as it is not a tracing, and upload that. Similar to how we can't use text from other sources but can paraphrase in our own words what is said. You can also search in wiki commons [4] and see if someone has already created this illustration. Rule of thumb, pretty much any image you find on the net will be a copyright problem. Fair use exemptions are pretty strict and limited. See WP:FU. What Wiki would like people to do is create their own images, much like we create our own text. Take pictures, draw illustrations and donate that to wiki is highly appreciated. --NrDg 23:06, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Block, Please?

NrDg, I was wondering if you could block User talk:128.241.46.108 from I Love New York or where do I get a block for new users to not edit that page? Thanks! --Yankeesrj12 (talk) 23:43, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Looks like User:Caribbean H.Q. took care of it. If you have given a final warning to a vandal and he is still vandalizing, go to WP:AIV to report it. Admins are usually pretty quick to block when appropriate. --NrDg 01:00, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Content dispute on David Gilmour page

Hi NrDg, I dont know whether u have noticed me or not but i too work and help in reverting vandalism on disney related articles. Right now i am seeking ur advice regarding a non-disney article. On the David Gilmour article page there is a section titled "Main musical equipment" which contains a long list of musical instruments used by Gilmour. I deleted the section because as far as my knowledge goes "Wikipedia is not a collection of lists". Also the whole section was uncited and unsourced. The list of musical instruments listed in the article were huge and i dont think that it is needed in an encyclopaedic article.also i believe its not notable issue. But two anon ip users have reverted back the info and put it in the article. I tried to resolve the issue on talk page but i think it will escalate into an edit war if i keep persisting. I need ur advice regarding future course of action as an admin. Shd i approach RfC or seek third opinion??.....is there any other way out which u would like to suggest. You r the only admin i know, thats why i'm askin you....Lookin forward to hear your advice...thanx.Gprince007 (talk) 10:16, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Recommend you add to the discussion on User talk:Spike Wilbury (an admin involved in musician articles) page section "Have a minute?". 156.34.208.175 who is also involved in the David Gilmour discussion about equipment basically asked him the same question you asked me but about the Keith Richards article. There seems to be consensus that equipment sections are OK and expected as long as they are sourced. I think you can work with 156.34.208.175 and other 156.34.x.x incantations. It is a judgment call as to what equipment to include based on what is notable and that will need to be based on consensus. I recommend you leave the section as is, for now. Tag it as an unsourced section, and continue the discussion on the talk page (and try to get User talk:Spike Wilbury involved as a mediator). --NrDg 16:10, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

User:Trulystand700

Do you still suspect that this user is a sock puppet? It doesn't look like it's been reported at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets. Larry V (talk | e-mail) 18:29, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm pretty certain he is because of his edit patterns and initial image upload fair use justifications. Another user pointed this out to me (message further up on my page) so I decided to monitor him. I also checked his previous incarnations to see what was going on. He appears to want to help but is having some problems with image fair use and copyright issues. He appears willing to learn and adapt. As long as he trying to contribute in a mostly positive manner, I think it is worthwhile to encourage him and help him out. He does not, at this point in time, appear to me to be ABUSING, sockpuppets. I would appreciate your comments on how this situation should be handled. --NrDg 19:19, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Hello!

I was just seeing if that could be put in the article. I didn't know if it was gossip or not, I wasn't so sure whether I should put that in the article so sorry. --Alisyntalk 02:17, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Replied on your page. I would like to keep conversation there. Thanks. --NrDg 02:24, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
